SECURE Grid Act
What does the SECURE Grid Act do?
HR 7257 is a House bill sponsored by Rep. Robert E. Latta (R-OH). Updates the federal law on State energy security plans so States also plan for the physical security, cybersecurity, and resilience of local electric distribution systems — the lower-voltage lines and equipment that deliver power to communities. It adds these systems and their equipment suppliers to what State plans must address.
