HR 9388 is a House bill sponsored by Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez (R-FL-28). Rewrites subsection (d) of section 7132 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 117-263; 49 U.S.C. 44901 note) so the TSA Administrator, in coordination with the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, may permit checked baggage arriving from participating foreign last point of departure airports to continue on additional flights originating in the United States without additional TSA re-screening if four conditions are met.
