District covers all of Audubon County, Boone County, Buena Vista County, Calhoun County, Carroll County, Cherokee County, Clay County, Crawford County, Dickinson County, Emmet County, Franklin County, Fremont County, Hamilton County, Hancock County, Harrison County, Humboldt County, Ida County, Kossuth County, Lyon County, Marshall County, Mills County, Monona County, O'Brien County, Osceola County, Palo Alto County, Plymouth County, Pocahontas County, Pottawattamie County, Sac County, Shelby County, Sioux County, Story County, Webster County, Winnebago County, Woodbury County, and Wright County, including Sioux City, Ames, Council Bluffs, Marshalltown, and Fort Dodge.
Randall Lee Feenstra is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. representative for Iowa's 4th congressional district. The district covers the state's western border and its northwestern quadrant, including Sioux City, Ames, Council Bluffs, and Marshalltown. Feenstra is retiring in 2026 to run for Governor of Iowa. A member of the Republican Party, Feenstra served in the Iowa Senate from the 2nd district from 2009 to 2021. He was the Sioux County treasurer from 2006 to 2008.
