District covers all of Boone County, Braxton County, Cabell County, Calhoun County, Clay County, Fayette County, Gilmer County, Greenbrier County, Jackson County, Kanawha County, Lincoln County, Logan County, Mason County, McDowell County, Mercer County, Mingo County, Monroe County, Nicholas County, Pendleton County, Pocahontas County, Putnam County, Raleigh County, Roane County, Summers County, Wayne County, Webster County, Wirt County, and Wyoming County, including Charleston, Huntington, Beckley, South Charleston, and St. Albans.
Carol Miller is an American politician, educator, and farmer serving as the U.S. representative for West Virginia's 1st congressional district since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, she previously represented the 3rd district from 2019 to 2023, prior to redistricting. Her district covers the southern half of West Virginia, including the cities of Beckley, Bluefield, Charleston, and Huntington.
